I have been playing the piano since I was 4 years old and haven’t stopped. I am a classically trained pianist and focus on creating a well – rounded musician. Along with teaching you how to play the piano, I teach proper technique, ear-training, music theory, and music history.
I graduated from Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL with a BA in Piano Pedagogy and Performance, summa cum laude. After Trinity, my husband and I moved to Southwest Michigan where our 2 boys, Carson and Henry, were born. While in Michigan, I taught privately for many years and was a highly sought after accompanist.
In 2007 our family moved to Libertyville, IL where I opened up a private teaching studio and spent several years as the staff accompanist at Libertyville High School. 2016 brought our family to the beautiful city of Tallahassee where I am continuing to teach private lessons out of my home studio in Killearn, on the northeast side of town.
